3. Complete research into Fine Artists through book based research
4. Select a Fine Artist to research to inform your own work
5. Present your chosen Fine Artist to the group demonstrating your understanding of your own selection

Using the links provided in the ppt. conduct research into Fine Artists. Aim to draw up a 'short list' of least 3 artists whom you find inspiring

Using books provided conduct research into Fine Artists. Aim to draw up a 'short list' of least 3 artists whom you find inspiring
10 MINUTES Discussion and decision
In pairs discuss the artists you have selected in order to determine which would be most relevant for you to research. Reflect on the following:
- Who are they
- What type of work do they create? e.g. painting, sculpture, printmaking, drawing
- What themes do they work with?
- How does their work link to your own
30 MINUTES
Repeat the above activities using a different research method.
10 MINUTES Plenary:
Present your chosen Fine Artist to the group explaining the following:
- Who are they
- What type of work do they create? e.g. painting, sculpture, printmaking, drawing
- What themes do they work with?
- How does their work link to your own?
1. Select 1 painting/drawing/print by your chosen Artist and bring a printed copy/photocopy of this with you for NEXT LESSON.
2. Complete and present your Fine Artist research. You must research this artist in depth and write up your research in the same detail as your Cas Holmes research.
